Agronovation is a synthesis of agribusiness and technology driven economy development project to stimulate innovation and creativity in young agriculturists in order to revolutionize agriculture.
Agronovation aims to enlighten and train young agriculturists on modern technologies, and business strategies they can leverage to develop sustainable agribusiness and contribute to the growth of national economy.
Agronovation is designed and implemented to:
Facilitate youth participation and career development in agribusiness
Convert young agriculturists to real-time practitioners
Expose them to the business of agriculture
Teach them how to start their agribusiness with less capital and how to get grants for their agribusiness startup
Brace young agriculturists with modern technologies disrupting agribusiness
The first edition hosted over 400 young agriculturists and others in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Benin, Edo State.
