Physics is a branch of natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion and behaviour through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. Physics is one of the fundamental scientific disciplines, and its main goal is to understand how the universe behaves.
Applied physics is physics which is intended for a particular technological or practical use. It is usually considered as a bridge or a connection between physics and engineering.
Industrial physics is also a branch of natural science that studies the structure of matter and the interaction between the fundamental constituents of the observable universe. It emphasizes on applications of physics in industries and environmental context with the science underlying of renewable energy and sustainable technologies. It is also a wider range of ethnological sector including semiconductor electronics industry, the computer industry and bioscience.
Physicists investigate motion and gravity, the behaviour of gases, the structure and behaviour of matter, the generation and transfer of energy, and the interaction between matter and energy. They identify basic forces and laws of nature.
